Well I thought life was suppose to get easier when you get older, but the exact oppsite seems to be happening to me. I guess things have not gone like i thought they would in my life and know i have to deal with that. I am a planner and when things don’t go right I get unhappy about it. But i will get though it!

Lately the weather here has been great for November……in the 50’s and 60’s, not having to heat the house is a plus. But trying to get things done in the house is a different story. When you get so many ideas you don;t know where to start from. But hopefully over the winter things will be looking pretty good.

 So long for know!! 

Finally things at work are back to normal. I have my weekends and evenings back. We have finally hired a Manager and I am only doing the office work!

I can tell its getting close to winter, I hate going outside to the cold and it sucked when we got the snow!! I haven’t had a chance to even get my leaves picked up yet, everytime I am going to its either rains or it snows! So they will have to wait until spring!!!

Since I am a normal schedule you would think that I would want to go out with friends, but I have not felt like doing anything for almost a month…..I think I am becoming a hermite!! Or maybe I just need to save money!!! That would be a logical explanation!!!!!

I know that I have not been a very good blogger (I thought I would be better at this). Things have been busy since my last post. Work has gotten better. I told my boss that I could not be the manager anymore and that he had to find someone else to do the position and that I would focus on the Credit Managing position that I was really hired for and loved!! He understood and we are now in the process of hiring for a restaurant manger. I have not been called in for the last week-which is good!!! I think the employees are finally getting the picture!!

 Other than that things are going good at the house!! I still have things to do, but with work and all it has been a struggle to get things done. Either that are I am lazy-which ever is the case. But I hope in a couple of weeks things will be back to normal and I will have the work done in the house before winter hits.

That is just the start of the hell week to month of work that I have had. The second position started out OK, but by now three weeks into it it SUCKS!!! Not only do I have no staff I am working 10-12 hours days for the past week and it looks like it is not getting any better for me. So I have to hire more workers and I have talked to so many people within the last three weeks they already know my situation. And I seem to hire people either they don’t work out or they don’t show up!!! Please have the decnecy to at least tell me that you don’t want to work or tell me why. All I can say is that it may be time for a change for me and see what else is out there. Pray for me that things work out for a reason and that I will get through this.

I have been asking myself that the last two weeks. Since I got the new position at work things have been very busy for me. No time to do much except work and make sure all the things have been done. Hopefully that will change in the next week or two when I finally have everyone hired.

But since it was Labor Day weekend I did have a chance to go out to the bars here and have a good time. Me and a friend of mine decided since it was the weekend we wanted to go out both nights and see how much trouble we could get into. I think we managed to get into a little trouble. Had some beer bought for us and did some flirting and dancing. I think we still have it after all the years. Ohhhh the memories!!!!!

That is putting it politely…. Work has been a very stressful time. I am currently in two different positions with the same company and trying to not have any overtime…Now that’s been the hard part. But things will look up in about a week or two.

Went back to my home town just this past weekend….putting it lightly it was BORING. I am from a very small town that’s has no paved roads and you are pretty bored except for going to the bars.

Its still been a roller coaster to get things at the house done. Being a homeowner has it advantages and then it has its disadvantages. Advantages being you can do what ever you want to your house and no one can tell you not to. Disagavantages being you have to spend money in order to do the things that you want and having that mortgage payment also. But then I also get tax advantages to owning a home also. So as I am writing this I am in the process of putting everything in the proper place and taking inventory of what I want to do, so I can do things at a slow pace and not spend too much money at one time.

Also work has been very stressful–I got a new title the other week. I am a General Manager of a Restaurant that my company manages. So I will be putting in over time and covering for the workers you may or may not quit. So it will be a challenge in itself.

Keep your tabs on me I may be venting my frustrations on here. Time to sign off!! I promise I will post more than once a month.

The move has been accomplished!!!! YEAH for me!!! I had lots of friends who are very good to me and helped me through the move. Even through the heat!!! This is the last move that I will do for a very long time.

I have recently purchased a home. Everyone told me closing never goes smoothly. Boy are they right!! First I get a call saying that the seller needs more time to get moved out, so i gave an extra 3 1/2 hours and also the walk through got changed at that time to since we knew she was not going to be out. I get to the house to do the walk through and she is still packing. I am totally freaked out that I will not be able to close on the house. We go through the house all checks out OK. The seller at this point has about 1/2 to have everything packed and out. I had a few issues come up and I ended up having some of the sellers stuff in the garage, which she came to pick up the following Monday. So right now I am in the process of painting and getting everything cleaned so I can finally move in. Only a few issues have come up since the closing. I had issues with the dishwasher already and painting the cabinets is not fun. I will be replacing them in the future, they happen to be the original cabinets and the house was built is 1980, so I cannot complain to much. Other than that I painted my bathroom purple, I will have an accent wall in my living room that will be a deep red (I hope), and then my kitchen will be an orange, rust color. I will have to put up pictures so everyone can see the awesome colors. Check back for more updates on the house and see what else I can get my hands on to do other than paint and work.
